I too have traveled the world and have been to almost every major city in the nation and I think Cleveland is one of the BEST cities to live. Those who visit and live here agree. The Rocky River area of Cleveland along the lake is just specatacular with its million dollar homes and beach front properties overlooking the lake. You just can't beat the neighborhoods of Gates Mills, Hunting Valley, Bay Village
The parks are the best in the nation Your comments are old and dated. C'mon you talk about living here in the 70;s, Don't look now but that was over thirty years ago!!! Get real.

Cleveland is a great place to live and has one of the highest standards of living and quality of life of any major metro area. The city has among the best museums, symphony, theatre, restaurants, beautiful lakefront. Million dollar suburbs etc,,,The weather is spectacular in the Summer and Fall , Today I am poolside in sunny 85 degree weather . Winters are no different than Chicago, New York or Torronto The author of this story is just plain ignorant.

Aug 4th 2010 10:03AM Cleveland is glad that low life thug Lebron is gone. He deserves that hell hole Miami Florida sucks BIG TIME. The weather is horrible. The heat and humidity are so oppressive you have to stay indoors 6 mos out of the year. Not to mention the devastating hurricanes , the bug infestations, the mold.
Half the people don't even speak english , are uneducated rednecks and hillbillies., Miami is innundated with third world illegals, Crime is rampant, unemployment is one of the highest in the nation and Florida has one of th highest foreclosure rates in the country. South beach is all hip hop ghetto thugs with gangs and violence. (Lebron will fit right in.)

Gee what about all the abandoned boarded up homes in Watts and the horrible gang problem LA has, Not to mention having the most polluted air and water in the nation. The traffic is horrendous and it boasts one of the lowest standards of living and quality of life of any metro area. And isn't Los Angeles on the verge of bankruptcy??
So before you go trashing Cleveland, maybe you should try fixing your own city's problems!
