Miracle Baby Born After Being Carried Outside Uterus {ParentDish}

May 27th 2011 4:41PM Abdominal Ectopic pregnancies concluding in a live birth, while rare, are not unheard of. It was documented in the popular news in 2005 in the UK and again in 2008 in China. Doesn't the TODAY show check facts?

Suze Orman Helps You Earn More and Keep It {AOL Jobs}

Jan 25th 2011 4:27PM Her story sounds great. IRL it just doesn't work that way. If I went to my boss and said either give 5 or 10 thou, she would laugh me out of her office. If I went to her and said look - I did all of these things above and beyond - listing things she believes were valuable - and now I have an offer for a higher paying job at another company, then and only then would she consider fighting for a raise for me.

Kodak Portra 400 Film Made Exclusively for Scanning -- Not Printing {Switched}

Oct 1st 2010 3:49PM Kodak stock $4.00 a share, down from a one time high of over $100. Consistent annual losses on operations for about 10 years. That says it all. Film is not a good foundation for a manufacturing company. It is, at best, an curious anachronism, a novelty.

Ben Stein is off his rocker in dissing unemployed {WalletPop}

Jul 20th 2010 3:46PM So if Mr. Stein's thesis is correct, these "people with poor work habits and poor personalities" would have been fired long before this recession. Therefore this level of unemployment would have been 'normal' all along - these bad employees would have been fired and no one would have ever re-hired them, being bad employees and all.
Our unemployment level should have been 12% all along and anything less was anomalous.
What about new entrants to the workforce? We need to create nearly 2 million jobs per year just to keep up with new employees. If we create fewer jobs, the unemployed will grow under M6 - but not under M3.

Sorry Ben, your thesis does not work - care to try again or was this just more of your tounge-in-cheek deadpan humor?

Michael Douglas' Ex-Wife Wants a Piece of His 'Wall Street 2' Money {PopEater}

Jun 28th 2010 3:55PM NY Court has no jurisdiciton in a California divorce. Both and very mobile and live in multiple jurisdictions.

A new movie is no residual - she is not entitled and should be found liable for MD's legal fees.

Waste of her time and money.

Why Critics Are Wrong About Credit Monitoring Services {WalletPop}

Jun 15th 2010 8:26PM Sorry lady, you are just wrong. It is too expensive and people only rarely make mortgage loans. $180 X 20 years = $3600. You can check credit just before taking a loan and do it for free. If it is a car or similar purchase, the lender will tell you if there is something wrong and you ca fix it. It just is truly a waste of money and if this is an example of the quality of your advice, you score a zero with me. No borrower needs to be in that big a hurry to take a loan.

Housing Bubble Was Whose Fault? Not the Fed's, Says New Study {Housingwatch}

May 11th 2010 6:08PM CRA is a popular scapegoat - However, it represented a tiny fraction (less than 6%) of the loan volume and an equally small number of defaults.

Housing Bubble Was Whose Fault? Not the Fed's, Says New Study {Housingwatch}

May 11th 2010 6:06PM Neither Bernanke or the researchers hit the nail dead on. The problem was allowing the risk to be laid off through Insurance and Credit Default Swaps for syndicated loans bundled into GUARANTEED securities sold around the world with AAA ratings when the underlying loans were shaky at best. Loan origination, credit underwriting and appraising were all automated and outsourced so no one entity had responsibility for seeing the package had any veracity. Each contractor was paid for his piece of the story and no one had any overall risk - except the insurer and the final investor.

Franklin Graham Warns Obama: You May Lose Millions of Evangelical Votes {Politics Daily}

May 6th 2010 7:39PM Graham is wrong in tying his personal beliefs and tax exempt status as a spiritual adviser to the presidency. It was improper for him to address the pentagon meeting in the first place. It is not a religious or spiritual meeting.
