Nov 17th 2006 9:57PM For the record - TARGET IS NOT FRENCH OWNED!!!! I SHOULD KNOW - I WORK THERE! Also, Target DOES support the troops, they have a Military Leave policy and pays for healthcare for one year after deployment. THe Target Volunteers group also puts together care packages for the troops, Pretty much EVERY dept. adopts a family at Christmas time through the United Way and buys things on their wish lists and has it delivered to them, we also support the United Way every year raising MILLIONS through team member donations, and the UW supports the Salvation Army as one of its charities.....GET THE FACTS straight before you "complain" people. Remember, I work there and have for 22 years!!!
