I also have to laugh at you for including yourself with the Pope and Mother Theresa. First of all Pope Benedict XVI is far from having any type of moral standards, going back to when the priests were molesting young boys.

What amused me the most was the kids who attended Catholic school wore navy blue dress slack but when they went to attend mass they wore blue jeans.

Jun 10th 2010 11:11AM I come from what I refer to as the "fur bearing- church"
YES! I was raised Protestant. It amused me to see all the woman in our church show up in their fur coats. It was a fashion show. My family had attended that church since my grandparents brought my dad as a young boy.
When I was 15 or 16 I talked to my dad about wanting to go to a different church. My father was shocked- This is "OUR FAMILY CHURCH" I went to church with a friend's family, it was a non denominational church with a minister who was AMAZING!
When I got back home, my dad asked me what I thought about it.
I was so excited and willing to share my first impressions of the church. Not only was the minister dynamic, but it had a much younger congregation being so close to a major University. As I found out later they had a very good youth program. He was extremely impressed after attending service on Sunday and arranging a meeting with the minister. It was hard for my dad to walk away from the family church.
I would rather see people in jeans and a T-shirt who are there for the right reason versus to show off their new fur coat.

Circumcision is becoming less popular among medical professionals.
It should only be done for religious reason.
Even then circumcision is mutilating a penis. Same thing goes for cropping a dog's tail. Even worse clipping the ears.
It is very sad that a dog owner would clip the ears.

May 14th 2010 2:47PM I just find it amazing that the republicans are saying that she has no experience as a judge but you can look at Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist who wasn't a judge before being appointed to the Supreme Court.
People are complaining about her position about allowing the military to recruit on the campus. She was only defending the policy of the university regarding discrimination. She isn't anti military, she was doing her job by trying to enforce Harvard's anti discrimination policy.

May 13th 2010 12:15PM Ken Griffey Jr is a Hall of Fame player, I sometimes take a power nap for 10-15 minutes, which makes me so much more alert. I honestly don't really believe that Griffey Jr was sleeping. I believe that he is much more professional than that!

I went and read your entire postings and you are one angry woman!! You say that gay marriage is unacceptable because it would confuse kids and jeopardize marriage! Let's face it the heterosexuals sure seem to be doing a good job of ruining it themselves! Look at the divorce rate and say that two people who love each other shouldn't have the legal benefits of marriage? Your religious marriage should be kept out of OUR government!
Your marriage is a contract between you and your husband, we should be able to have the same contract. Perhaps you have a very sheltered life and I feel very sorry if one of YOUR children is gay. YOU SHOULD LOVE THEM REGARDLESS!!
I came from a very strong Christian family and was concerned that if I told my family that I was gay that they would want nothing to do with me, just the opposite happened, they said "You are my child and I love you regardless" They didn't try to "change" me, they LOVED ME!!
