Woman, 62, Adopted by Man, 85, Fights Eviction From His Apartment {AOL Real Estate}

May 11th 2013 12:58AM Didn't want to marry him because that was gross? But moving in and living with him for a rented "apartment" was even more disgusting! How much lower can she go?
So what if she is "legally adopted"? Her name is not on the lease. As it's only a rental, it's not subject to be "inherited". She is selling herself extremely cheap.

Port Orange HOA Tells Residents Yard Statues Aren't Allowed {AOL Real Estate}

Apr 6th 2013 12:08AM Her angel was "light up at night"? The angel is "so beautiful"? Is she kidding? It can be such a low class kitsh to everyone else that devalue the property value of the neighborhood.

Everyone dies. And someone dear had died in every family. Just because she lost her husband doesn't mean that she can violate the rules and annoying other homeowners by flaunting her eyesore angel in public. If her husband is so special to her and she misses him so much, have the angel moved into the house, better yet, into her bedroom, all lit up through the night to keep her company. Other people need not be bothered with her memory or forced to remember her dead husband.

Port Orange HOA Tells Residents Yard Statues Aren't Allowed {AOL Real Estate}

Apr 5th 2013 11:59PM What's the big deal? Such a small problem not worth the boohoo over it.

So she has an angel statue that's special to her personally in her "front lawn" that violates the homeowner's rules? It's not personally or communally special to anyone else. So, remove the said statue from the lawn and place it inside her house out of sight of other people. It's not special to anyone else, they don't need to see it on public display. It's about her husband and no one else. She can keep it close to her in her house or her bedroom if he and the statue are so special.

Otherwise, I can have a post-modern scrapiron statue that's personally special to me on display on my front lawn but an eyesore to other residents. Where do you draw the line?

Such an easy problem to solve!

Squatter Lamont Butler Puts Faith-Based Claim on Lavish Mansion {AOL Real Estate}

Mar 20th 2013 10:52PM Can he prove that his "Moorish" ancestors came to America before 1492, before the white people came?

Michelle Hansen Tags Home With Message to Chase Bank: You're 'Stealing' My House {AOL Real Estate}

Feb 10th 2013 3:24PM And your health problem is the bank's fault? Because you lost your savings and your business so you should get free housing?
Life sucks then you die. When hard time hits, it's no one's problem but yours.

Michelle Hansen Tags Home With Message to Chase Bank: You're 'Stealing' My House {AOL Real Estate}

Feb 10th 2013 3:19PM Until the house is paid for, it is not your home. You are renting it from the bank.
Why did you buy a house you cannot afford? Why didn't you live within your means?
It's not the bank's problem that you fell on hard times. You still have to pay for your grocery and your clothes and your utility bills. If you don't pay rent, you get evicted. Why shouldn't you have to pay for your house?
Really, some people just too stupid for words and never learned to think at all.

Steve Salton's Tigers, Leopards at His Home Are Dragging Down Home Values, Neighbors Say {AOL Real Estate}

Feb 9th 2013 1:29PM How did he get the permits to keep endangered animals in his backyard in the first place?
How big is his backyard that it's big enough for a sanctuary for several wild animals to roam and hunt?
The animals must be available for public viewing? You've got to be kidding!
The officials who gave him the permit in the first place must be stupid to the extreme and should be fired!

Tenants' Rights in Eviction: When Do Landlords Go Too Far? {AOL Real Estate}

Feb 5th 2013 2:05PM Good, the landlord is concerned about fire and other tenants' safety. BUT -
That's why apartments are supposed to have "smoke alarms" that shrieks loudly to warn you of smoke from burnt food or any other fire danger. If the apartment does not have a smoke alarm, or the smoke alarm is not working for some reason, the landlord is the one endangering tenants' lives.
Besides, for any breach of rules, the landlord must give the tenant a warning first and a written notice to correct the problem. If the tenant refuses to correct the breach, then and only then, can the landlord evict for breach of rules.

Demolish Taj Mahal? Indian Pol Muhammad Azam Khan Says it Should Have Never Been Built {AOL Real Estate}

Feb 2nd 2013 8:20PM Is there no end to some people's stupidity? Shah Jahan had every right to build a tomb for his wife and himself. He was the absolute ruler and could do whatever he wanted with all the resources his power and authority could muster.
Who the hell is this Azam Khan? What did his people built? How did such stupid nobody become "minister of urban development"? What could he possibly built? Ugly cinder-block fire-hazzard tenant houses that no one cares! As long as they keep such idiots in office, there is no hope for India.
