And who do people think pay for this? the obese are out of control, obviously, and since they're either unwilling or unable to do something about it...it's makes economic sense to take the choice out of their hands. If they were being responsible then it wouldn't happen. But when the obese act like children who have no concerns about how their choices affect others (i.e. in the wallet) then they are no longer worthy of having those particular choices. they've contributed to the choice being taken away...just like kids.

Mar 29th 2011 12:07PM Lane probably needing attention and thought this movie was her ticket somewhere, probably to lead in next ballet production or leverage in contract negotiation...when it wasn't made a big deal in the press that she in fact did much of the more technical work, she was probably hurt that the movie Pr wasn't more about her...after all, she's a ballet dancer and it's just a movie...

Mar 15th 2011 2:36PM It really is as simple in most cases as she states. the key elements were only three things:
1. change the nature of the food. it wasn't drastic it was sensible
2. change the volume of the food. we've become a country addicted to 'super sizing' things as if that's good value...more crap food in your body is not more value it's more crap food
3. activity...yes she did what may seem a lot but simple walking every day will help until the desire for more activity comes to play...strolling along while distracting yourself with a cellphone conversation won't be near as effect as purposefully walking...
congratulations to her, she's done great.
