Jul 13th 2012 9:14PM How's this for an idea, these homes (especially those in desirable areas) will NEVER hit the market...but they are currently being released in bulk to major conglomerates who have billions of dollars to buy them for pennies on the dollar and fix and sell them or lease them out. The banks are selling in bulk to them with the understanding that they are not to be sold within a certain amount of time....So to all the people that think that this shadow inventory will collapse the market and you will beable to buy homes for a few hundred bucks, keep dreaming...it will never happe..The banks know that releasing thse homes to the buying public will cause prices to decline further and mean more foreclosures and thus it will never happen...actaully the bottom of the market was about a year ago...happy shopping!!!
