Somaliland: building a nation {Gadling}

May 24th 2010 10:42PM This is an very interesting article, and its makes me very proud to hear how Somaliland is continuing to head down the right path. I'm 24 year old Civil Engineering student in Ottawa, Canada and can't wait to take part of the re-building of Somaliland after I finish my studies. Anytime someone I know goes to Somaliland they have nothing but good stories when they get back. I have never been back to my home country since my family was forced to flee our home in Mogadishu after the civil war. My father studied Engineering in Russia and always told me that I must never forget my home country and to contribute to the progress when i get older. Your article is very inspiring especially your conversations with the successful businessmen of Somaliland. Thank you for your sharing your experiences Sean and keep them coming.
