Man In Legal Wrangle With Airline Over Beverage Service And Unflushed Toilet {Gadling}
May 12th 2013 4:52PM As a LONG Time Airline Employee (30 years) there is WAAAAAY More to This Story than being reported. Typical of the news media.....tidbit of info makes SPLASH across the Front Page as a Headline. This Pax was obviously No Saint, Far from Innocent and certainly No Choirboy in a Church to warrant Police being called. FWIW, No crewmember at ANY Airline wants to be bothered writing reports, giving depositions or wasting their time on People with Crude, Rude and Boorish behavior. Trust Me, I Know! And Suing for $500,0000....?! He will NOT get a Cent and more than likely be Blackballed/Banned from EVER flying with This Airline Again. No One is UNTOUCHABLE.
Lady Gaga Hatches From Egg and Into Controversy Onstage at 2011 Grammy Awards {AOL Music Blog}
Feb 14th 2011 8:47AM The ENERGY and Innovative Shows that Lady Gaga puts in Her Performances are second to None! I can only imagine all the criticism "IF" she merely came On Stage and SANG. Some people may not like Her Style but there isn't a Club around that will not play her music........She Is an Icon!
'Today' Hosts Aim for Viral Fame With Music Video (VIDEO) {AOL TV}
Nov 15th 2010 8:16PM I really enjoyed watching them MAKE the video, with obvious apprehension, yet they did a Great Job! the Video Director Mike Thompkins is Awesome.........I can watch him sing all the time........He really has fun with his songs.
Five Places Pilots Hate to Fly {AOL Travel News}
Oct 13th 2010 8:43AM As a LONG Time Airline employee I can certainly AGREE with the writer's list to an extent. Orlando and Charlotte are NOT that bad but Palm Beach.........NO Freakn' Thank You. No Way, No How. I'd rather have a root canal. And let's not forget Boston......lots of arrogant Rude people that speak some F'd up dialect....and they all want to be part of the Kennedy clan. Washington DC has plenty of ATTITUDE too.
Flight Attendants Do Safety Video Dancing to Lady Gaga {AOL Travel News}
Oct 5th 2010 8:23AM Couldn't AGREE more! As an airline industry employee SOME People are B-e-y-o-d CLUELESS when they get to an airport to begin their trip, let alone COMPREHEND a safety demonstration. Try giving an EXIT Row briefing (which is REQUIRED by the FAA) AND YOU REALLY SEE THE Nonsense that permeates the cabin. In the last week I have had THREE people attempt to hit the restroom, final descent, landing gear down and a few hundred feet from touching down. CLUELESS, IDIOTIC and downright stupid! And these same people BREED More.............yikes!
Virgin America announces nonstop flights to Los Cabos and Cancun from $129 {Gadling}
Sep 1st 2010 12:42AM For as much POSITIVE Praise I hear about VA, W-h-y are they considered one of the most PROBABLE Carriers to go BUST? They haven't made a profit since they began flying and I highly doubt the likes the Delta and the New United will allow them to grow at their expense. Seems odd that people really like Virgin but the operation doesn't make any money.
Lindsay Lohan Ordered to Undergo Psychotherapy and Random Drug Tests {PopEater}
Aug 26th 2010 9:54AM I Agree. Any other person would have been made to serve all 90 days of the sentence. Lohan is a PATHETIC POS that will be in the headlines AGAIN and I can hardly wait to see HER Crash and Burn. I am soooooooooo tired of watching these people that received numerous breaks SQUANDER them and then act like "Society Made Me Do It" or "I can't handle the fame, fortune and opportunities". For people that support HER and her drama filled antics- You are Just as Much a PART of the Problem. I personally can't wait to see her Go the Way of Anna Nicole Smith.........another TRAINWRECK!
Some flight attendants worse than drunk passengers says survey {Gadling}
Aug 24th 2010 12:28AM As a F/A with 30years I agree with Your accessment. The wonderful US government under the auspices of the 9/11 terrorist attacks felt a need to create the Dept of Homeland Security which is nothing more than a Federal Organization specializing in 'Window Dressing'. I don't feel it is any more SAFER today than it was 9 years ago but it SURE AS HELL is a Bigger Cluster* due to the TSA and additional FAA rules/regulations and BS. I can clearly understand WHY the average pax gets ticked off when THEY are NOT the problem but the Systems in Place are ridiculous to say the least. That's NOT to say there are plenty of customers that REALLY shouldn't travel on an airplane in a confined space and could use a crash course in manners and plain ettiqutte. Most people are pleasant and are generally NOT a problem but it's the Self absorbed, self-entitled that feel 'priviledged' that drive most of crazy. I will give You a professional onboard service and experience but there is NO WAY I will be your personal SLAVE,Servant or personal PunchingBAG.........NO WAY, NO HOW, and I don't care W-H-O you are or who YOU think You are. Period.
9-year-old Forgotten at Chicago Airport {AOL Travel News}
Jul 28th 2010 8:03AM Okay, a few points to make here. First of all United messed up by 'forgetting' the child. Secondly, IF and I do mean "IF" the child was so 'traumatized' why would HE be insisting that HE be given First Class seats for life? (Most traumatized victims wouldn't even want to get back on the airline or RELIVE any part of the horror.) So WHO is 'coaching' Him? He's nine years old.....or is He in Law school and looking to take on his first lawsuit? if the airline says they refunded the fee and offered some type of gift/settlement, call it hush money or what have you..........but He says He was offered nothing? The kid is NINE Years old.........He's being Coached and spoonfed FALSE Truths. United may have errored but the Bigger Lie is told by the Child and the Parents. But then again, in This Country it's always about Suing, because it's "All about Me......even at Nine Years Old!"
30 Hurt on Turbulent United Flight {AOL Travel News}
Jul 21st 2010 7:39PM have worked in the airline industry MANY Years and the STUPIDITY never ceases to amaze Me. I don't have an ounce of sympathy for the injured on what was predicted to be a Turbulent Ride. Way too many people choose to not listen to the announcements (unless of course you state something is "Complimentary"). Seat belts are installed for a reason........don't use it and I guess we will eventually scrape you off the ceiling. And people will never change their STUPID WAYS. Even when there is an accident they may watch the safety demo Once, but then they figure 'they know all that'. Funny thing is........most wouldn't even know the type of aircraft they are on, let alone HOW the Hell to Get Off One in an Emergency. Idiots!
