Sep 14th 2010 11:45PM As a football player at a nationally recognized university I am proud that Reggie has agreed to relinquish the Trophy.....Even though someone else was deprived of the award for that year because of his actions at least it reestablishes the award as the top award for the most outstanding amerature player for that particular year...
If we don't all agree to "play by the rules", then we might as well just skip the college "amerature" rules (and bypass the "college experience")....and don't misunderstand....I certainly understand the pressure at that point in a young man's life......what we realy need to do is get to the greedy "agents" who hope they can make a fortune by signing these players to pro football contracts......maybe we should quit punishing the players and start sending the agents to prison for their misconduct...I'm pretty sure that would slow the violations
Sep 8th 2010 12:12AM Thats interesting...I lived in Newport Beach/Irvine for 25 years and was always told John lived on the waterfront corner of Newport Harbor and the back bay....and I saw him in a small boat in the back bay one day...now all of a sudden he lived on the golf course....?????

What a great country...and now my wife and I are just starting to 'really plan to see this great country'........I want to sit down in Boston and have a bowl of New England clam chower (with a warm loaf of sourdough bread)....I will do that this summer when we travel to New York for a wedding and then go on up to New England!!
