35 fantastic U.S. beaches for Summer {Gadling}

May 14th 2010 11:04AM I knew there'd be a Michigan beach on there somewhere. I'm about 40 minutes from Oval beach :-) If you haven't been to the beach on the western shore of Michigan, you don't know what you're missing. :-) I recently went to Hawaii and while the climate is warmer and the water much bluer/clearer, they have nothing on Michigan's beautiful sand...
