Where is the most tasty tap water? {Slashfood}
Mar 23rd 2008 4:23PM Personally, I like bottled water. I don't trust tap water in any part of the country.

The Changeover -- Dressing for Spring's In-Between Weather {oldstylelist}
Mar 31st 2007 8:03PM I live in Florida, where the weather does change all of a sudden, contrary to this article. Of course, it never gets really cold to begin with. By this time of year, though, it is hot enough that you almost have to wear shorts or a short skirt with a short-sleeved top. I hate the warm weather! We don't get to wear those cute twin sets or cashmere in the spring like the article was saying.
Upset airline passengers call for passenger "Bill of Rights" {BloggingStocks}
Feb 16th 2007 7:15PM In response to Jose's comment, I believe some states already do have those types of laws. They just aren't usually enforced.
Upset airline passengers call for passenger "Bill of Rights" {BloggingStocks}
Feb 16th 2007 7:10PM I think the passengers need to stop acting like such annoying, whiny babies. Just because you are "stuck" on a plane for longer than originally planned doesn't mean you should start whining or complaining. I'm sure it drives the flight attendants crazy and it isn't pleasant for the other passengers who are trying to relax and make the best of the situation to have to listen to the person next to them complaining all the time. The airline has NOT done anything wrong. It's not their fault if the weather is not safe for flying; and they should not be held responsible, nor should they be expected to give anything to the passengers except some food, water and the opportunity to use the bathroom. (I mean, they can't let the passengers starve to death or anything like that.) They should not be expected to provide free hotel rooms or new plane tickets when they haven't done anything wrong! The passengers who are in such situations need to learn to just shut up, sit back, relax, and make the best of it.
The Pope wears Prada {Stylelist}
Nov 22nd 2006 2:30PM The Pope is just a person, like the rest of us. He can wear Prada shoes or anything else if he wants to. If someone is a good person, what difference does it make what they wear?
Florida's Multiple Personalities {Gadling}
Oct 14th 2006 10:02PM I am a Florida native, and I have never liked it here. I find it refreshingly funny to hear that not all tourists think it's the most perfect place in the world. I get so tired of people calling it a "paradise." Yeah, Florida is pretty and all, but it definitely can get boring, just like anywhere else. And the hot weather gets old very fast. But I do agree with Kelly's comment about Tampa and Ybor City. Channelside and Tampa in general are great, fun places to visit. I've only ever spent one day in Miami, but I didn't particularly like it there, either. It's like being in a foreign country- everything is in Spanish! And the roads are insane, with one overpass on top of another. In general, Florida can be a nice place to visit if you go to the right places, but believe me: you wouldn't want to live here!
