Galley Gossip: Crew luggage, rolling vs folding & lifting heavy bags {Gadling}

May 12th 2010 12:30PM Found your NYT slideshow very enlightening. I am traveling on three different flights this weekend, and dug out an old Delsey roller bag that is softsided and not good for checking. Did a practice run and found I can pack everything I need easily, and I'll be able to lift it over my head, which I can't do with my Samsonite. The Delsey measures 22x14x7 and doesn't expand but should work fine. I'll carry a packcloth briefcase with my netbook and other stuff. Thanks for all the tips.
