What Corporate Jargon Annoys You Most? {Asylum}
Mar 21st 2009 5:01PM Anita, most people make the mistake of thinking that "loan" and "lend" are not synonymous and that they cannot be used as verbs. They can be used as verbs. One can say, "I would like to loan her the money" or "I would like to lend her the money." Yes, I'm a serious English-grammar teacher. Joe
3.5 million bags mishandled last year. Beat the odds. {Gadling}
Feb 6th 2007 5:08PM British Airways lost our 3 bags for 41 days. They never apologized or offered us any compensation or airline tickets. In fact they are blaming a Russian airline. When we wrote to the Russian airline, they never responded to our letters. I won't fly British Airways again, nor will I fly on a Russian plane.
Most Baggage Lost Ever! {Gadling}
Oct 12th 2006 11:00AM British Airways lost my three bags and they have never responded to my three communications with them. What do I do now?
Most Baggage Lost Ever! {Gadling}
Oct 12th 2006 10:52AM We flew on British Airways to Heathrow on August 22, 2006. Our three bags were lost. We received one bag about 10 days later; the second bag about a week later; and the third bag on September 20, a month later. Although I wrote to British Airways three times with signature confirmation, including my receipts for the clothes we had to buy in Russia, WE HAVE NEVER RECEIVED ANY COMMUNICATIONS FROM BRITISH AIRWAYS UP TO THIS MOMENT, and we have even sent a copy of all communications to Willie Walsh, the CEO of British Airways. Why should I or anyone ever fly British Airways again?

The last letter was sent to Willie Walsh, the CEO of British Airways. T
