Oct 24th 2009 5:48PM This is off subject a bit but it needs to be out there. There is a comment that kids aren't turning out so good now days. I had my doubts until a few years back. I have seen some stand up young adults out there in the last few years. I have met some 20 year old Iraq Vets that have it together. Without a doubt. Focused and in tune with the world. There are some students I have seen on television that are smarter by a factor of 10 when compared to a Sheila Jackson Lee or a Nancy Pelosi. Today in the parking lot of our local shopping center I heard a kid rev his engine and made his tires squeal a bit when he took off. I saw him and did not shout at him as I have been known to. He was too far away by then. A few minutes later he comes walking by my truck. I calmly told him that I was not impressed by his show off power and that my wife was close to his truck when he pulled the stunt. He was a big muscled up boy and I expected a confrontation. Instead, he apologized, said that it was a bad idea and shook my hand while thanking me. I was impressed by his stand up ways and if I see him around I will show him the respect of a gentleman. Thanks for listening. By the way this happened in Weatherford, Texas in the afternoon of October 23, 2009.

They are all in it for the money and they say they want to take care of the non-combatants only because that takes more time and they make more money. This is pure BS. The citizens will put their collective feet down on this "idea". "Hope" all you want, keep dealing drugs and commiting crimes against your own. You will pay the cosequences. Or go to North Carolina and continue your ways. They are wanting your input. Best wait until after the citizens have their say first. I don't think they are all for the "change".
