It's hard for people to take climate change seriously when they aren't feeling the immediate impacts or aren't threatened personally. But there are steps that can be taken to lessen the impact or begin to formulate plans and policies to begin adapting to climate change.

Using tourism revenues or even the tourism industry as an outlet to take action and to encourage other businesses in the supply chain to make sustainable choices can make a huge difference in the long run.
