Apr 23rd 2010 10:26AM A wonderful sentiment, beautifully expressed. I totally agree with your view of the sometimes frustratingly slow, but inexorable progress of humanity. Who would have dreamed, even 50 years ago, that even people in remote corners of the world would be familiar with concepts like Solar Energy, Broadband and Animal Rights? I mean, wolves have been around for 50 million years, and they can't even make a good cup of coffee.
