In reading your older article on the differences in various Boeing planes, I was sad to see a professional pilot calling the control wheel a "yolk" - like an egg. I might expect that from non-pilot, but to see it come from a pro is pretty disappointing. I think calling it a 'yolk' should be grounds for recurrent training!
Maybe it's a matter of poor spelling, or poor editing, but I believe it should be properly referred to as a "yoke". Anyone who can't manage that should just call it a stick!
Thanks for the insights into the other side of aviation that most of us don't get to see.
