What's Up, Doc? It's Wabbit Season at Warner Bros. {ParentDish}

May 21st 2010 4:53PM I love the Looney's! The originals have been sorely missed from TV for way too long. My nephews (ages 6 & 8) gave me the Golden Collections so they are available. I love the war years patriotic 'toons like "SwingShift Cinderella." The craftsmanship and artistry of the classics is so much superior to the anime-styled trash that is supposed to be kid-friendly entertainment.

Besides, Warner Bros. stealthily gave us an education in classical music: "What's Opera, Doc" is based on Wagner's Ring Cycle and "The Rabbit of Seville" on the "Barber of Seville" & "Il Nozze di Figaro" among others. Me listen to classical music as a kid! What a dethspicable thought!

Is Gulf Oil Disaster Obama's Katrina? (Hint: No Flyovers This Time) {Politics Daily}

May 3rd 2010 2:48PM Going to the Gulf Coast was just another excuse to take the jets out for a spin. Talk about environmental imprudence! How much jet fuel was needed for the 2 747's to take flight? And why the 9 day lag in visiting personally- O was too busy proseletizing to Wall Street.
