Apr 29th 2011 10:37PM "Hair" & "fur" are not the same, nor can they be used interchangably. As is the case for we humans, dogs & cats (as well as horses, cattle and pigs) have only hair, not fur. Only true furbearing animals like rabbits, hares, mink, chinchilla, etc have fur. As such, it is improper to say that dogs & cats have fur or to use the terms hair & fur interchangably. I've been a veterinarian for 34 years...so I'm pretty sure I'm right about this one.

Sep 11th 2010 4:36PM I can all but guarantee you that if even ONE Wall Street type (CEO, Hedge Fund manager, etc) had walked by that tree, they would have stripped it clean in less than 2 minutes...down to and including the leaves and even the bark. All of which goes to prove, of course, that while most average Americans live by one set of morals, those who control everything live by a radically different set of morals. What a surprise, eh?

Aug 20th 2010 10:51PM I can tell you for a fact that Millan's method is the correct one....and it's not harsh either. Dogs are very much pack animals and they will always respect the leader of the pack...which means the human in charge. I've been training dogs for 30 + years and I know from experience that what I say is correct. Also, virtually everyone who visits me tells me how well trained (and well behaved) all of my dogs are...and how happy and friendly they are too. They all want to know how I do it. I use Millan's theroy, with several unique twists.

Apr 26th 2010 12:12AM One of the pre-requisites for a Federal Job that the author forgot to mention was this one: You have to be dumber than a box of rocks...so if you aren't, then you're SOL. And if you think not, then just try dealing with almost any Federal employee...assuming you can even get one to answer his/her phone that is!!!
