'Fake' Pilot Wanted By Police After Flying Jets To London {Gadling}
May 12th 2013 11:56PM He isn't a fake pilot. He's an "undocumented" pilot. That's sort of like being an undocumented immigrant. The difference was that the "undocumented" pilot didn't get anything free from others. Maybe he deserves amnesty like all the illegal alien border crashers.
Flight Attendant Confesses Ups And Downs Of Job {Gadling}
Dec 5th 2012 1:50AM Why would anyone not believe her comments about lots of sex during layovers? Her generation has come of age during the time of the casual hook-up. Of course young flight attendants have sex with passengers, other crew, and other guests at hotels. In the same light why would anyone BELIEVE the the 40-60 year old flight attendants who claim sex never happens. Maybe not now for them because they are too old or overweight to get any BUT when those 60 year olds were young fa's, they were the ones dressed in hot pants and mini-skirts advertising their airlines with sex appeal. It is silly to pretend that those members of the "pill generation" didn't have rampant sex.
America's Meanest Airlines {Gadling}
Apr 11th 2011 6:46PM Has anyone else noticed that since government intervened to make sure the airlines treated flight attendants "fairly" - (code for they can be overweight, unfriendly, lazy, unfit) - that service on U.S. flag carriers has become a joke.
Miss San Antonio Domonique Ramirez Loses Crown After Gaining Weight {MyDaily}
Feb 10th 2011 11:05PM No, she didn't "do a wonderful job" if she gained too much weight to fit into the wardrobe purchased for her to wear at a photo shoot. The wardrobe was designed and purchased based on her contest winning body. Yes, she is still beautiful but she won the contest at her smaller size. The pageant has the right to expect her to maintain the proportions that won the title.
Miss USA Rima Fakih Is a Muslim. Hallelujah! {Politics Daily}
May 23rd 2010 11:54PM Fine, so a Muslim was given the crown to prove tolerance. Lebanon was a peaceful county renowned for its beautiful capital of Beiruit until the Muslims decided to stamp out Christianity there and began the civil war in the the 1970's. A Christian majority in Lebanon tolerated a Muslim minority for a thousand years of peace and prosperity. Palestinians flooded the country and began a civil war that destroyed it. Her family fled to avoid the the behavior of Muslims.
Be Careful Who You Ask For. You Just Might Get Him. {BV on Love}
May 23rd 2010 11:26PM Dean, you were lucky. Todays women would take your effort to please and use it against you. They castrate nice guys, and condemn bad guys as being rotten. The divorce rate is 50% and women are the ones filing for it 95% of the time.
Senator Ben Nelson Claims ATM Ignorance (As He Votes on ATM Legislation) {Switched}
May 23rd 2010 10:28PM Amazing how people like Tom Hill won't stand in line to speak to another human being -- but they will sit behind 4 other cars at the drive by ATM to use it.
Upfronts Wrap-Up: Eight New Shows That Look the Most Promising {AOL TV}
May 23rd 2010 7:34PM If you are changing the basic character behavior and the theme song, why not change the name to something different from Hawaii 50? Call it Aloha PD or something. Tired of shows and movies ripping off the names of older productions and then pretending to be so concerned with copywrite laws to protect their intellectual creation.
NBC Wants You to Do Good. Why? A Look Inside 'Behavior Placement' {PopEater}
Apr 17th 2010 5:23PM have any environmentalists noticed that energy saving lightbulbs are "hazmet" items that require special disposal? Save energy by creating lasting pollution - does that makes sense to a tree hugger? Also, I've been watching the energy saving light bulbs at work for a year now; the packages say they last longer, but in reality they burn out twice as fast causing twice the trash and disposal problem.
Should Christians Pay Taxes? Abortion-Funding Debate Meets Tea Party Populism {Politics Daily}
Apr 13th 2010 6:39PM Yes, Christians should pay taxes. However, the government should not fund any activity that is morally opposed by such a significant portion of society (and likely a majority of citizens who actually pay taxes). Abortion cannot be compared to the Defense Department, to which some also object on moral grounds, (though usually only when they don't feel threatened) because the "common defense" is an explicit Constitutional responsibility of the national government. Funding of abortion is not required and is intended as a specific benefit to an individual - not to society. The true unpopularity of abortion among voters is made obvious by the fact that ALL prominent elected officials make it very obvious that "they are personally opposed to abortion" even if they think it should be available as an option. They may be lying, but that isnt a surprise given the reasons they support it. Nor has any female official - including Nancy Pelosi or Hilary Clinton come forward to say they had one or that the life of one of their friends was made better by having an abortion. Citizens should pay taxes, but governments ought not to misspend on things that most (latest polls) believe to be fundamentally and morally wrong.
