How Old Is Too Old to Wear a Miniskirt? {Stylelist (Main)}
May 13th 2011 9:45PM So, after age 61 no bathing suits of any kind? That means one of two things. They either meant older women must never swim again, just sit and swelter. Or older women should swim in the nude. I choose option 2 over option 1. I have no intention of giving up swimming. In fact, swimming is consider a great exercise as one gets older, gentle on the joints but aerobic. So I chose option 2! LOL

Try This: What Meal Can You Make Without Going to the Store? {Kitchen Daily}
Mar 22nd 2011 12:14PM Pesto sauce! I always have good quality jarred pesto in my freezer. Awesome just on pasta for the most simple meal. Chicken or fish and pasta for something a bit more. Also, Goya makes an excellent jarred cilantro based sofrito. Use on chicken, fish or pork with rice.
In the Pink: Pantone Names Color of the Year {MyDaily}
Jan 12th 2011 9:23AM Ah yes, as you said, John, there's always Bazooka bubble gum..... and let's not forget Pepto-Bismal. This is an abysmal (a-bismal? lol) color! Really, if you are over the age of 10, do not expect me to take you seriously if you wear this color!
Fired Over Fantasy Football: The Unfortunate Case of Cameron Pettigrew {Fanhouse Fantasy Football}
Dec 18th 2009 8:05AM My, my, aren't we a paean to behavior that can only be classified as patronizing! It must be truly wonderful to be so perfect and always know exactly the right thing to do. I am sure that you have never, ever done anything wrong. And, if you are a manager, I am sure you fire immediately, no questions asked, no matter the offense. Hmmmm.... would 5 minutes late once in 3 years be considered fireable? What about if they made a personal call... would the reason for the call matter? Oh wait, "fire first".
Yes, he made a mistake. But a warning should have been issued. And to essentially blackball him with his U5 is a petty, mean, cowardly thing to do. And, to not to treat everyone equally is also wrong. So get off your damn horse, it's tired of carrying your self-righteous a&^!
Straight Actors, Gay Characters: Our Faves {Inside TV Blog}
Nov 4th 2009 8:01AM I was so glad to see Billy Crystal on this list... for no other reason than that Jodie was a groundbreaking role, as Soap was a groundbreaking series. Jodie was one of the "good" characters. He showed that a gay had a strong sense of family. Showed that a gay did no have to be a "flaming" charicature, even in a comedy. And Billy Crystal was gutsy for taking the role. It could have killed his career in those days, and he was just starting out as an actor.

Mommy jeans? No thank you. {ParentDish}
Oct 7th 2006 2:29PM I just got a great pair of jeans at Target. Cut just below waist but definitely not low-riders. Relaxed fit, straight legs.... sort of what Stephanie and Clinton recommend LOL. I've gotten compliments when I wear them.... and under $30!!
