The power of attorney should have had a clause that stated it was for his medical needs and to pay any bills he might incur. That should have been drawn up properly with an attorney of some repute. There are even some democrats who are religiously against gay marriage and equality.But they vote for the party and not their personal beliefs. DOMA might be wrong but it more right than wrong. Equality in partnership should be civil only. DO not expect John Doe to go along with your idea of sexual equality.

They should have foreclosed on the property and allowed the family to stay at a small rental fee as long as it took to sell the home. Banks are very stupid. Unless the family is destroying the house they should stay there until the property is taken care of by the bank or rent it out to another party while maintaining the property.
