Social Networking and Travel: Do's & Don'ts {Gadling}

Apr 22nd 2010 12:21PM wow...I am *SO* glad that I'm not any part of this social experience! This stuff is way too much work.

Seiko's 'active matrix' E-Ink watch exemplifies awesome, might just be the future (video) {Engadget}

Apr 2nd 2010 1:18PM Why are these watches so *HUGE*
That Astro-boy watch looks to be half an inch thick! OMG! I would never wear something that huge on my wrist! I like big dials, but I want my shirt sleeve to fall *OVER TOP* of the watch and not get bunched up by the watch!
I recently discovered Kenneth Cole watches. These are beautiful watches. Picked up a nice rectangular Reactor...nice!

Legal limbo: Disney could go after you for posting vacation videos online {WalletPop}

Jan 19th 2010 2:19PM What's interesting is that this behavior isn't limited to just theme parks. I dare you to go to Washington DC and set up your Nikon Pro-sumer digital SLR on a tripod and try to take pictures of our nation's monuments or statues...You won't be able to. Well...not until you pay for your license to take those pictures. Otherwise, the park police will get in your face and even confiscate the SD card from your camera, or even worse, confiscate your camera. They figure that if you are setting up thousands of dollars in camera equipment, then you must be a professional, taking pictures for a professional (as in, getting paid for it) venture. To they want a cut of that money in the form of a license. The little point and shoots can usually get away with it...as long as you don't have a tripod. But the same thing has been happening in shopping malls, parks and public places all over the country...The premise is, 1) the items you are taking pictures may be copyrighted and/or 2) if you are making money on the images, then you need to pay for the privelidge.

USB PC Prankster: guaranteed to freak out, enrage your cubicle mates {Engadget}

Oct 18th 2009 7:25PM this exact item almost got someone in our office fired. The random mouse movements is the culprit. Think if you click on a button by accident and up pops the dialog box asking if you want to delete or not...you hover the mouse over "no", but the random mouse movements, moves the mouse over to "yes" just before you click...In today's web based apps, this is a very possible scenario!
Two of the best tricks is to take a screen shot of the person's desktop and set that image as the screensaver. or if the user is a hunt and peck typist, swap the "m" and "n" keys. most people won't notice this until it is too late!

Aug 11th 2009 11:24AM not all people who play video games are hard-core gamers...I love playing FPS games and I do it for the enjoyment and relaxation. The most frustrating part of playing a game for enjoyment is when a level gets so difficult that you just can't get past that Boss, so you just give up and go onto a new game. This has happened to me on several games..
And when I've completed a game on all the levels I wish to play, I enjoy playing with cheats on some of the games...it adds a new fabric to the gameplay. Nothing like walking down the street in GTA with infinite ammo and god mode on! YeeHah! bring it on! Dropping helis like flies and blowing up cars and not a scratch on me! Now *THAT'S* fun! I think that this mod would be quite helpful in GoW and GoW2...nothing wrong with more firepower!
