Jan 24th 2011 11:37AM I too was a bit concerned about my bus trip across Central America, but was delighted to hear about the CA-4 Agreement. I'm a passport stamp lover though and was disappointed that there would be stamp since I already had one from Nicaragua. Yet Guatemala did stamp. It's all better than fees and tourist cards!

If I hear this right, anyone can be stopped in Arizona, asked to show documentation proving legal status, and, in the case that one can not produce some form of such identification, may be detained. Forget the green card, driver's license, passport, social security card, etc! The answer is: bar codes...tattooed...on the back of the neck.
