GPS Angel red light warning system could be your best friend on a road trip {Gadling}
Apr 12th 2010 12:57PM we were thinking about adding something like this at our los angeles motorcycle rental location, for our motorcycle hire services. But we weren't sure they'd be useful, or if renters would even want them... How well does it work, that's what I want to know.

Ten "must have" road trip safety products {Gadling}
Mar 16th 2010 3:13AM Whenever I take a road trip, I'm on my motorcycle. Which pretty much always means I'm in the middle of nowhere. So this satellite messenger beacon sounds like a great idea.
We run a los angeles motorcycle rental business out here too (http://labmwmotorcyclerental.com/), and we really like to keep it rootsy, by just giving people a paper map. That way they can get the full road trip experience. But we're for sure adding GPS.
I've been stuck in the middle of the Mexican desert with no GPS, and you tend to freak out pretty quickly.
