Feb 28th 2011 12:15PM I'm sorry but I'm with Trump on this one! As a grandma myself, I say if someone is not making their kids sit down and behave then THEY should have been kicked off instead! Having children running in the isle is a safety issue more that a irritation. What if there were a problem and people needed to deplane? It is the same reason we all have to keep carry-ons stowed and seatbelts on. Ivana was right!

I agree that healthy eating with grains and veggies is the smart way to go, but don't try to say "on my diet you even get pizza and no deprivation!" because it is a little misleading...

Dec 10th 2010 11:33AM Remember that the cruise lines suggested tipping guide is just that, a suggestion. Sometimes we pay more to someone who is exceptional and occasionally pay less if we are neglected or insulted by someone who forgot that they were in the customer service industry.
In all of my crusing I have never seen an employee being mistreated by a superior. In fact most of the people working on the ship know their roles and perform them admirably.
I have been on a lot, (over 40), of cruises and the suggestion to book Regent Seven Seas is a bit extreme. Most of us book a cruise because of the price, Regent, Crystal, Cunard are classier because they cost 2 to 3 times what you will find on Carnival, NCL, RCCL, and Holland America. Even after the nickel and diming you will pay far less "out the door". Besides the cheaper cruises are more laid back and so much better for the kids.
If you have never been on a cruise because you think you can't afford it, sit down and figure out what a typical family vacation would run you. Hotel room for 7 nights, breakfast lunch and dinner, snacks, cabs, after all is said and done, finding a deal on a cruise is a bargain! And the kids will LOVE it! All ships have kids clubs and they get involved with crafts and play together. While they are busy doing their own thing mom and dad can hang out at the pool or casino. Life on a ship is wonderful!

Dec 1st 2010 8:57AM I wonder how many kids have been killed by cars? Why not recall them all then? At some point people have to be responsible for themselves! I know it is tragic when a child is hurt or killed, but sometimes there are such things as accidents and they will always happen. Falling off of a bike, breaking an arm or leg, does not mean we recall all bikes, bad things happen!
