An Inside Look At The Old TWA Terminal At JFK {Gadling}

Oct 8th 2012 1:31PM Agreed! Flying used to be a pleasure. Seats were comfy. Food was wonderful.. Service was superb. Passengers dressed in finery and before boarding they actually bathed. I used to enjoy flying, but no more. I stopped flying before this terrorist era, because of how deteriorated the experience became, but now from what I see and hear I will never fly again, it's highly unsafe and I don't need to associate with riffraff... the airline employees appear to be far lower class than the scummy passengers..

Drought-Stricken Lawns Get a Makeover With Green Paint {AOL Real Estate}

Jul 29th 2012 10:05PM That's what it looked like when it was brown. LOL

If you're gonna paint your lawn at least do some nice artwork, maybe a beach scene with a few bikini girls.

Drought-Stricken Lawns Get a Makeover With Green Paint {AOL Real Estate}

Jul 29th 2012 9:53PM Someone has more dollars than brain cells... wasted $125, first good rain that dye will wash away... what if it rains the next day? duh Could have greened up that postage stamp sized lawn for about $2 worth of water every two days... sprinkle a dusting of peat moss to help retain moisture and a light watering at sunset to minimize evaporation... then mow high(3 1/2"). I'd have better spent that $125 to amend the soil so that it holds moisture... for that tiny lawn it doesn't pay to bring in a truck load of top dressing compost, buy a half dozen bags at a garden center.

Teacher Says She Doesn't Regret Punching Student in Face {ParentDish}

Jun 6th 2011 3:47PM The experiment didn't work, it's well past time to do away with free public schools... I for one am fed up with being taxed to babysit someone elses hooligans. Those who are serious about receiving an education can pay for it, those who choose to be slackers can be conscripted to do full time community service; clean streets and public toilets. Enough of the gravy train for little losers.

Lauren Alaina: Scotty McCreery 'Might Be My Boyfriend' {PopEater}

May 26th 2011 3:29PM Truth be known Scotty ain't all that much in the looks department, he's a skinny bag of bones with a face that's a cross between Howdy Doody and Mad's what me worry kid... if anything in the attractiveness department Lauren is the one who can do much MUCH better... and she has more talent in her little finger than Scotty has in his entire emaciated body. Scotty's singing is totally unidimensional and as a country singer he's not all that... country is 10% song and 90% emotion. Scotty imparts zero emotion, his voice is weak and he has no range. He'll never make it as country singer, he'd best keep is day job.

Guess What Color Saved This Bedroom? {Shelterpop}

May 16th 2011 7:40AM Totally staged... no person's bedroom (before and after) looks as sterile as those. And when was the last time anyone had flowers in their bedroom? Want to make that bedroom really exciting, fasten that mirror to the ceiling. LOL

Winged Migration {MyDaily}

Feb 27th 2011 9:53AM You folks are totally ignorant about Canada geese. Canada geese are strict vegetarians... their poop is no more disease ridden/messy than cow, sheep, and deer poop. Canada geese do not land on, inhabit, or poop on paved areas, so that article about poop on a paved playground is fulla doodoo. Canada geese do not land on or inhabit the typical surburban sized lawn, they need at least an acre or three for landing and take off... and Canada geese are extremely territorial, no way will a hundred Canada geese share less than five acres. I live in a very rural section of the Catskills, my mowed lawn consists of 10 acres. There are Canada geese on my lawn from spring through fall, and aside from their landings and take offs being visually stunning I find them a huge benefit... FREE ORGANIC FERTILZER... and Canada Geese poop has no odor, I could never afford to treat my lawn with chemferts, nor would I want to... many critters share my property, I welcome all, I'm not going to poison their food and water... and a few hours of heavy rain totally disperses all Canada geese poop into the ground. If folks don't like Canada geese then they need to return to the concrete cites from where they came. I will never comprehend folk's sanity who want to live in the country but then hate *everything* about it. When those magnificent creatures land on my property I consider it a grand reward and a blessing.

Best Outback Favorites {Slashfood}

Jan 31st 2011 9:13AM What's wrong with people... anyone who goes out to eat and orders a steak, chop, or any cut of meat that they can easily cook at home and cook better, and in all likelyhood will be a better cut of meat, one you picked yourself, and then complains it's not worth the price is a pinhead. In the US one can buy several cuts of USDA Choice steaks on sale every day... for the price of one restaurant steak dinner I can feed a family of three, and better. Anyone with a stove and skillet can cook steak better than those eateries with all that smoke and flame signifying nothing, flambe is all for show. I was a ship's cook in the US Navy, I fed 400 every day, steak was the easiest meal to prepare. When eating out one should take the opportunity to order something they can't easily cook at home; oriental food, seafood, most ethnic foods... only a moron orders steak... and if you must at least make it tube steak (franks n' beans). I order those odiferous viands out, those that would schtink up my house; fish of all types, and my favorite, a huge slab of calves liver smothered in onions and bacon. I won't cook seafood on my outdoor grill, that schtink will contaminate any beef/pork/poultry that follows.
