The Haven By Norwegian a new boutique hotel chain, at sea {Gadling}
Jul 20th 2011 9:51AM Don't know what is new about the Norwegian "Haven." It is just a copy cat system going into a "class" system like Cunard has done for years and years, with the QE and their other ships. Now it's coming to Norwegian and they think this is an innovation, this type of sailing was around long before Norwegian came on the scene, sorry Norwegian, your not the first, no big deal.
Airlines offer in-flight menu items at food trucks, pop-ups {Gadling}
May 8th 2011 12:29PM Since when did Southwest start serving food on their aircraft? Why would the be participating in this when they don't.
5 best chocolate factory tours around the U.S. {Gadling}
Jan 29th 2011 9:02AM Ethel M chocolate, what a joke. We went there for a tour, took all of 5 minutes to see the entire factory. We were given one small chocolate piece to eat. The candy store where tourists can buy chocolate is nothing more than a big advertisement for M & M's brand which owns Ethel M chocolates. This place is a joke.

Sep 18th 2010 9:33AM Best investment in travel one can make, it is an outstanding program, but hate to see GE get the publicity, the fewer that use it the faster for me to leave the airport.
For last second fares, watch for United's Twares {Gadling}

Mar 27th 2010 9:59AM The one comment about booking on-line without an agent. People who book on-line are in fact using an agent, a faceless one, I get a kick out of people who say oh, we don't use travel agents...who do you think you are dealing with when you book on-line?
Top ten ways to become an obnoxious business traveler {Gadling}
Mar 5th 2010 2:50AM Bert,
You are right, but I am with UA and the first to board are the GS and 1K's etc. You always know who most of them are at least 30 minutes prior to boarding as they are hovering the red carpet lane. They have to be "first" into "first" or "first" into bus class so that they can get seated so that they can display themselves that are sitting in economy. I get upgraded once in awhile, I don't hover, and if anything I try and avert my eyes from making contact with others boarding, I am not impressed with myself, why should others.
Top ten ways to become an obnoxious business traveler {Gadling}
Mar 4th 2010 7:17PM Absolutely right on, I really love the guys that stand at the gate, so that everyone will know they are going to be first on. They want to be first on so that they can stare at each and every passenger going past them into economy they have that "I am important look" on their face, look at me, I am number 1.
