Sep 14th 2011 12:46AM Construction workers also the proper safety equipment. This was just insane.
Sep 13th 2011 3:54PM WOW. I could sense my blood pressure and anxiety levels rising, and I knew they were safe.
Dec 6th 2010 2:33PM "Homophobe". Get real. People are entitled to opinions without being labeled "homophobe". You appear to be the only narrow minded and childish individual posting.
Apr 9th 2010 1:05AM You are nuts. Mickelson is a waste of time and uses his family as media props. Since when is a sporting event a whining festival? Mickelson has offered excuse after excuse for his failure to become the best golfer on the planet. There are many athletes and celebrities, as well as average working stiffs who have family members stricken with deadly diseases and debilitating afflictions. They don't constantly tell the world that they have to take their loved ones in for treatment and whine about it. They go to work and produce. Phil Mickelson has acted like a complete punk in light of the fact his wife and mother are receiving the best care money can buy. . In fact, when she was first diagnosed, Amy Mickelson did not go into treatment for six weeks. She went on vacation for over a month. Hopefully Amy and her mother will both be permanent breast cancer survivors. I know they are receiving the best treatment that money can buy. A number of golfers have dealt with major illnesses in the their families, including cancer. They dealt with their problems with dignity. There was some media mention, but nothing like the attention Mickelson seeks and receives. In Mickelson's case, every time he has a bad stretch of golf, he "has a heavy heart", "Phil's mind is elsewhere", "Phil is such a hero for being able to deal with his wife's illness at this time".
We just saw a 17 year old Olympic athlete suddenly lose her mother, two days before her event began. Her mother was in Vancouver for the Olympics. The athlete and her family made a decision and moved forward. Whether she chose to compete or not is not the issue, but the tragic loss was never used as an excuse for her competitive results. She was competing in an event that requires far more training, physical strength, dexterity, and concentration than golf.
If I am too politically incorrect for many of you, I apologize. I would, however, like to see Mickelson join the ranks of the rest of world and move forward without the constant reminders of his problems. Compared to the great majority, he and his family are living charmed lives. We all support these two women in their efforts to recover, and hope the prognosis for full recovery is fulfilled, but I would like to see golf and not media stunts and whining when the golf is failing. If you live long enough, you will encounter these types of serious family health issues. I know I have. It's not easy, but these circumstances cannot and should not be used as excuses for poor performance. In all walks of life, you show up and earn your keep or you should stay home. Your commentary was pathetic.
Apr 6th 2010 5:36AM So this is the re-buttal promised by Joslyn James and Gloria Allred. Joslyn James definition of rebuttal is the re-gifting of anal sex with multiple men in one session. That's what she does in her films.
What a loon
Feb 22nd 2010 5:24PM You're nuts. These women are no better than the groups of women hanging outside of the locker rooms at every NFL and MLB stadium. This particular group wants to do what they want and bear no responsibility. If they want to fully participate in the sexual revolution, they should be prepared to lose the game.
