How Long Should I Do Cardio For? {That's Fit}
Jan 28th 2011 10:59AM Because this is supposed to be a professionally written article, proofread and edited by other professionals before distribution to an international audience via the internet. When you get paid to do a job, it should be done properly. I think the better question is, why are you so willing to accept incorrect grammar?
The Hatch-Palucks, Week 15: The Elephant In the Room {ParentDish}
Jan 22nd 2011 7:36PM Ashley -- let me guess . . . your brother was, um, raised in the U.S.? And your mom "simply fixing him something else to eat" just enabled him. Re-read the article -- the kid didn't start having super restrictive eating habits until the mother had already given in.
The Hatch-Palucks, Week 15: The Elephant In the Room {ParentDish}
Jan 22nd 2011 10:44AM I wonder how many starving kids in Africa and around the world have food phobias? I'm betting not many. There are areas in the world where kids are rooting through garbage to try to find anything to eat. Only in the United States do we have precious little darlings with "food phobia". I agree with many of the other commenters . . . this mother gave in to her daughter as a toddler, taught her how to rule the roost, and the 6 year old now controls the parents. Starve the little brat and see how quickly she'll learn to eat. It's one thing to have an avoidance of a few textures, but having to shape foods into nuggets? Give me a break!

Jan 26th 2010 11:32PM If you play the music from the hand clap video (which is lame), and instead watch the Encino Man video, the mix really goes together well, and is much more entertaining!

The Worst Infomercial Products. Ever. {Shelterpop}
Sep 14th 2009 8:10PM I also wonder about that new floor tray with the fake grass, so that dogs can urinate indoors. That's got to be a mess to empty out & keep clean, and once the dog gets used to it you'll never be able to switch back to a plain door mat. Perhaps that should have made the list.

Sep 14th 2009 7:59PM Speaking of insulting, did she get paid for compiling that list of baloney? The reacher's usefulness is obvious, as is the button extender. I thought the soap idea was great -- my bar soap comes in biodegradable boxes, not plastic bottles with plastic pumps, and it lasts longer if it doesn't get slimy. Those slippers look like fun, & regular robes -- even long ones -- are too short to keep your feet covered & warm (Snuggies are nice and long). However draining bacon on bread heels & using the crumbs in meatloaf is brilliant -- cannot wait to try it. And it's better than cleaning the bacon drainer. AOL's lists have become pretty stupid & and not very useful.
Mother Never Told Dying Daughter End Was Near {ParentDish}
Sep 9th 2009 10:00PM I agree with Mandy! I've almost given up on reading comments to articles on AOL because they usually degenerate into name calling. However the respect and consideration that everyone has given to each other and to this difficult situation is touching. I've never been placed in this position; to anyone who has been faced with this decision, they can only do what they feel is best for their child. May they be given the strength to do whatever they feel is necessary.
