Feb 25th 2010 7:54AM Even the deadbolt theory won't help -- for safety reasons, deadbolts are automatically unlocked by the inside door handle so they won't be a problem in an emergency. This device opens the deadbolt, too.

What's really offensive is the people walking through malls, grocery stores, etc., conducting their phone conversations using the loudspeaker/walkeetalkee telephones to broadcast both sides of their conversations for everyone to hear. Bluetooth earpieces don't really exceed the noise level of "normal" phone conversations that much. And, they aren't that much use in a noisy environment.
