Jun 17th 2013 3:09PM You're leaving out one important point - when in doubt, declare it! Get caught smuggling undeclared contraband? That's a federal crime. Declare something that isn't permitted? It's confiscated but they send you on your way. Completely unsure? Declare it to cover yourself and the CBP and USDA agents will make the determination at the border.

Aug 7th 2012 2:26PM Another great trick: standard American 3-outlet extension cords (the cheapo ones) work fine at 220V. That lets me get three devices plugged into a single plug adapter. It does not work with power strips or surge protectors though; since they have switches, lights, and other features, they can't take the higher voltage the way a simple extension cord can.

If programs like American Idol are the most watched, I'd much rather them make high quality programs that cater to a smaller audience than to try and make more American Idol clones simply for bragging rights.

May 21st 2008 11:32AM This is far from Paramount's first theme park anywhere. Up until last year they ran a whole chain of top-notch parks including Paramount King's Island in Cincinnati, Paramount King's Dominion in Virginia, and one near Toronto.
