May 28th 2010 9:16AM While I do perfectly agree that using electronic devices while taxi-ing, taking off, etc is stupid, I'd think most pilots know that.
My concern is if the FAA tries to ban the use completely while the pilots are in mid flight. Imagine how boring that stretch of time would be? I'm not a pilot and I know just one, but I would feel terrible if the pilots had to do nothing but make small talk for hours on end while watching an empty sky in front of them.
