Oct 3rd 2010 2:42PM Absolutely! That's my point -- I had an incredibly hard time letting go and following it and that's completely my own fault. I still think it's worth a try. I'm glad so many people have contributed their own success stories with the program, so thanks for that.

Oct 3rd 2010 2:33PM I agree 100 percent. I guess when I say "overworked," I mean comparatively within my age group and among my peers. I would never compare my 12-hour workdays to the responsibilities of someone serving in the armed forces. My hat is off to anyone who has served their country, and as the daughter of a veteran, I completely understand what you're saying.

Jan 6th 2009 7:27PM Thanks for asking! I forget whether I wrote about it on That's Fit, but it went well. I cut out sugar, alcohol, salt and dairy for the first three weeks of January -- I felt great and lost a couple of pounds. But sadly it went downhill after that -- I started working at a new office and the change from eating at home to eating in a food court was an adjustment. I'm back on track now, thankfully. I'm not detoxing this January per se, but my eating habits have changed alot ( for the better) over the last year so I'm feeling better overall.

Jul 23rd 2008 6:55PM Ok, ok, I see all of your respective points. But Yuri is right -- all juices are not created equal. Fresh juices are good for you, but be cautious. Kool-aid counts as juice, does it not? I would say it's no better for you than soda. But a glass for freshly squeezed orange juice isn't bad, just look out for added sugar. I like the suggestion of diluting it with water -- that's what I do when I drink juice.

Apr 4th 2008 1:05PM Haha, it's fun, huh? The roller near my house plays nothing but 90s dance mixes. It's kind of fun for a while (like stepping back into my youth,) but after a while you just want to hear something new.
