Oct 28th 2009 12:27PM Cockroaches are a part of life, as are mice and a whole host of other vermin. Do I want a bug doing the backstroke in my soup? No but as long a place is making intentional efforts to keep back the pests then I can show some sympathy. Although I found a roach in my favorite dim sum place and haven't had the courage to go back yet.

Aug 13th 2009 7:53AM Joystiq you're a bunch of hypocrites. It's OK to slander people of faith but it's NOT ok say statements that would be equivalent of gays? You are the biggest group of hypocrites. BTW, gay is a word gay people use to describe themselves, hence the designation GLBT. So joystiq make a choice either all discrimination is wrong or it's not.

There are plenty of gamers who are Christians who show far more tolerance than you are claiming. In the middle east most of the countries would fundamentalists make "bible thumpers" in this country look like Castro Street gays. So please stop with the slurs and report the stories.

Jul 10th 2009 5:47PM I work for a large multinational company. whenever I talk to our staff overseas it seems consistent no matter what country you are in and how long you've lived there you want to do breakfast from whatever country you are from. I'm Korean American so I get confused sometimes I can want to eat Korean or Asian for breakfast and other times I want my bacon and eggs and pancakes. Living in Europe for a summer I hated breakfast. Hard boiled eggs, cold cuts ugh. The croissants were OK but otherwise I was glad to get back to the US.
