Ghostscrapers - Top ten post-apocalyptic abandoned skyscrapers {Gadling}
Aug 9th 2011 12:47PM My grandfather was a conductor on the NYCentral and worked on the Twentieth Century Limited. I'm sure this train went in and out of Buffalo, so it broke my heart to see the Buffalo station in such disrepair. So sad that 'we' don't take care of our treasured buildings like they do in Europe. If only those wonderful old buildings could talk. Please check out what has been done to the Worcester, Massachusetts RR station. It is now the city's transportation center, and the restoration is magnificent! Also, if you have been to Nashville, Union Station is a wonderful and beautiful place...hotel rooms, office space and a restaurant--right on the front steps (glassed in)!

Out of the Mouths of Moms: Best and Worst Gifts {Shopping Articles Blog}
Apr 20th 2010 8:38PM On my first Mother's Day, our baby was seven months old, so I couldn't wait to see what 'he' had gotten for me. During the day, my husband I made a nice meal for his mom, and I happily anticipated my first Mother's Day with lots of excitement. When the time came to open gifts, I was given nothing! But, of course, his mom got nice things because I had picked them out. After my in-laws left, I tearfully and angrily, shall we say, gave my husband a tough lashing explaining the hurt I felt. Next day he came home from work with a few nice gifts, but it was too much too late. Our son is now an adult and thoughtful and always gives me something nice for Mother's Day, even though he has a very busy schedule & lots of responsibilities....no thanks to his father.

Jan 27th 2010 6:23PM Was it really necessary to use the 'C' word? You're just really too gross and have no class. Please stay home and eat with that mouth.
