Jul 5th 2010 2:54AM Amen--Give me a seat that I fit in without all the kiss up service of first class! At 6' 8", I'd buy the $6 "seat" in a heartbeat, just so I could stand the whole flight without hearing the attendants tell me to go back to my seat that I literally cannot get back into without the person in front sitting back up. Outside of first class, the most comfortable spot on the plane is standing between the lavatories. Pardon me if I'm in your way as you pass with the beverage cart.

Jan 24th 2010 7:31PM This sure beats the MLK lesson we had in high school. At that time, many states were just starting to recognize a day for MLK/human rights. Our school district "honored" Dr. King, Jr., by declaring that black students could have the day off, while all the rest of us were required to attend school that day. No, this was not an attempt to demonstrate discrimination; they really thought this was a good way to honor the man!
