Wheelchair kid stranded by Air Canada after tweet-a-thon {Gadling}
Aug 8th 2010 9:32PM Sometimes it is difficult to find/get a wheelchair for children. Sometimes the wheelchair was a special seat for just that child. My daughter's first wheelchair had her seat special made to fit her, just like a racecar driver's is made for that driver. They took all kinds of measurements so that she could travel with the most comfort and safety.

Apr 15th 2010 1:12PM I have a 18 year daughter and we are right there with you. She does not move from one activity to the next without a meltdown. We have had new neighbors want to call the police when she get off the bus screaming at the top of her lungs. We never go to a restaurant as a family because we never know what will set her off. Some of her teachers, doctors, and us think that certain lighting can cause her meltdowns. Hope the best for you and your family as you try to survive this journey.
