Jan 20th 2010 4:36PM So what if people disagree with the ad, with Focus on the Family, and Tim Tebow? People are unfamiliar with or disagree with the subject of many
ads, but guess what? That's why sponsors bud ad time ... in order to persuade folks to buy a product or consider a point of view.
Most people have never witnessed the abortion process, seen the results of what it does to a human baby, or understand how it hardens the hearts of those involved. "Oh, yea, Vagas, baby!", but who doesn't know a friend or family member seriously harmed by gambling? And the more science advances, all the more the theory of evolution pales in comparison to intelligent design. As for premarital sex, it's almost as prevalent as porn, but what grandparent or father with an ounce of love in his heart for his daughter or granddaughter would desire for her well-being that she get used like a Kleenex and get discarded emotionally by a boy or a man who didn't care or love her enough to make a formal commitment to her before witnesses, let alone God? As for the "homosexual agenda", ordinarilly people don't care what other people are doing privately, but when this behavior is the made into movies, made the subject matter of TV sitcoms, made into a political campaign for special treatment as a minority, and even have the arrogance to not find satisfaction in the term, "civil union" but instead insist on redefining "marriage", then that is way beyond liberty and reason. You can call table salt, "sugar" all you want but that's not going to make it sugar or even make it sweet. And you may think it's okay for men to have sex with little boys, or teachers to have sex with students, or adults of the same sex to fornicate with one another, but God has said He thinks otherwise, and instead refers to some of this activity in some pretty tough language such as "an adomination". He also chose, through His Son, to love us with our twisted thinking and immoral behaviors. So, I'd be more concerned about what He thinks than Focus on the Family or Tim Tebow.
