May 11th 2011 5:12PM If you are arrested, your identity should be confirmed including if you are in the country legally. Doesn't matter if you are red, white, yellow, blue or green. If Akhbar Ali Martinez is arrested for committing a crime, while in custody they should check to see if he has any outstanding warrants & check to see if he is in this country legally. How in the HELL is that racial profiling when you have already been arrested? They didn't stop them on the street and say "show me your papers", these clowns have been arrested! And someone please explain to me how in the Hell does an illegal immigrant have protection under the US Constitution.

Feb 18th 2011 7:31AM I am a sports nut. My TV is tuned to ALL things Sports daily. If there is a strike, it won't bother me one bit. Pick up a book folks or watch something else. I don't get paid to watch sports so if they take it all away oh well. I will miss it but I'm not going to cry if I don't get to watch it.

Not saying that is a good thing as instruments can malfunction and the pilots actually have to do some work but rarely do they do anything up there anyway.

Sep 8th 2010 10:20PM When she said black comedians say the word all the time, immediately Chris Rock and Katt Williams came to mind. But when in the heck have Dr. Laura ever watched them? Using any derogatory word just tells me that a persons vocabulary is limited because there are many other words to describe someone but when you use a word that has been known to upset an entire race whether it be black, white, brown, green or purple, you are intentionally being hateful which can be considered racist. Does not matter what I say about my own kind, you don't cross that line just as I wouldn't cross that line with you and your race.

Sep 3rd 2010 4:16PM My niece is 6 years old and her parents gave her a cellphone. In two weeks time she ran the bill up to $400 dollars downloading ringtones and playing games on the cellphone. I think you are old enough for a phone when you are able to pay for it yourself. Kids today are spoiled, and they take everything for granted. They believe they are entitled to most things but when they have to work for what they get, they will be more appreciative.
