Jun 4th 2012 9:17PM The money shouldn't go to the typical "distressed homeowners" it should go to the real distressed homeowners, the banks!! There shouldn't have been a settlement plain and simple. It should be commonly understood and accepted that if you borrow money for something you must pay it back, or rist loosing your collateral (home in these cases.) Instead these bums find it easier to villify the lender (who should be thanked for having given them he opportunity to purchase a home in the first place,) and fighting their forclosure on an insignificant technicality.

Dec 9th 2010 5:16PM You might not realize this but if the ice was floating around in loose chunks it was broken off and melting anyway, so taking it is just like taking water out of the ocean anywhere. If anything it will help offset the rising sea level, at least until it finds it's way back into the water cycle.

Not only did this women punish her son in a sick and twisted way for a minor thing, but a completely innonent animal was killed for nothing. Whatever benefit that this kid might gain from better grades at such a young age is nothing compared to the emotional damage this crazy bitch did to this poor kid.
