Worst travel mistakes of the 2000's: Driving through Dingle {Gadling}

Jan 2nd 2010 8:08AM Y'know, Melanie, that brings back memories of when I was negotiating winding unpaved roads in the Cascades in an American car with this automatic gearbox thingie that was supposed to second-guess my intentions. It was probably the second time in my life that I had driven a car without a proper stick shift, and I nearly overheated the brakes before I could figure out how to get the darn thing to engine brake. 8^)
