Aisle theater seats may cost more money {Gadling}
Jan 6th 2009 9:36AM My local loews theater used to charge $5 extra for the "best" row. But then they had to pay for 3-5 ushers to be in the theater to police that row so only people who paid for it would sit there. I don't recall that many people paying for that row unless they had arrived just before the show and all other seats were sold out.
And as soon as the ushers left, then a few people would grab those seats.
The premium seats didnt last long.

Oct 21st 2008 4:25PM Netflix > Redbox if you watch a decent number of movies. With redbox you are paying for the time you have the disk, netflix is a fixed cost per month.
Then of course theres the huge catalog of titles that netflix stocks. Redbox doesn't have the space to stock a large selection of indie, foreign, or older films.

Aug 18th 2008 4:22PM Last I heard walmart had special censored/neutered versions of major albums on cd. That would make it the last place anyone would want to purchase a cd. AC/DC isn't exactly family friendly so I don't understand this move at all.

Jul 11th 2007 4:26PM This isnt that new. At "big wong" in new york's chinatown they have a couple 6-8 person circular tables that they seat like this. When i've been there though I've only been seated with chinese speakers or unfriendly types(or maybe i'm the unfriendly type).
It's more like being uncomfortably close to people on the subway and pretending the other people don't exist than a friendly dinner atmosphere.

Mar 18th 2007 12:26PM I checked it on my hd recording that is skiptastic, while you can't see "zug.com", you can see a section with blue lights. There arent enough of them to see what they spell, but you can see them easiest during "purple rain".

Sep 23rd 2006 11:11AM Smallville in HD is great. They need to start releasing all the HD tv shows on hddvd or bluray. Watching the dvd versions is pretty dissapointing after watching the HD version.
