Jan 6th 2010 11:04PM What really bothers me is that our economy is broken, not soaring, it is literally broken. Companies are going out of business daily, unemployment rate soaring, children world wide go to bed parentless and hungry. Recession and depression does not have a preference on race, creed, religion, or best golfer or basketball player. It effects everyone equally. "Our" nation, "our" world, is in a crisis and what most are concerned about, writing about, or talking about, the love life or martial problems of a man who puts his pants on one leg at a time like we all do, seriously? As a nation, as neighbors, as family, we need to be in the solution not the problem. I have a five year old daughter, and I want her to grow up learning about: how many people nation wide got jobs this week or opened a business this year? Whose house today was saved from foreclosure? Whose marriage was saved because their vows actually meant something, "for better or for worse?" What wanted fugitive is safely behind bars today away from our loved ones away from "our" children! Like the late and great Bernie Mac said, "We are all family!"
