Asus is selling fewer netbooks because of the iPad {TUAW.com}
Aug 22nd 2010 3:23AM I agree the iPad is too limited for the money. No port for a projector for PowerPoint presentations, kind of an oversized blackberry/ underpowered notebook. I installed MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) onto my Asus Eee with no problems. My Eee has the standard 160Mb while my 4 year old HP laptop has only 140Mb and both handle these simple programs with no problem.
Review: 2011 Ford Fiesta SES promises the democratization of fun {Autoblog}
Aug 9th 2010 8:21AM Michael, your real-world comments are appreciated but comparing a 2008 with a 2011 is less than fair. The Honda Fit was completely re-engineered in 2010, so that would serve as a better comparison.
Review: 2011 Ford Fiesta SES promises the democratization of fun {Autoblog}
Aug 9th 2010 7:43AM Nicely done article Chris. Ford appears to have done their homework on this one. One Fiesta for the econo buyer and another Fiesta for the green-world status seeker. Just a suggestion for future column features . . .it would be fun to easily compare car features, side-by-side, with another vehicle. . . . say compare a Fiesta to a Honda Fit. Just type in the two vehicle name and models and a side-by-side list compares everything from interior space to weight to price. Keep up the good work.

Aug 9th 2010 12:06AM Joe, clearly thinking is NOT one of your strong suits. Please stop with the emotional rants and start thinking with your brain.
Living On Electric Avenue Introduction: The Electric Vehicle Onslaught {Translogic}
Aug 8th 2010 11:56PM Good comments because a gallon of gas has 47.4 cents tax. This goes for transportation infastructure which will not disappear with EV's. Therefore, add 47.4 cents to the cost of electricity for an equivalent distance.
Living On Electric Avenue Introduction: The Electric Vehicle Onslaught {Translogic}
Aug 8th 2010 10:43PM Ken is absolutely correct that the Volt is 100% electrically driven making it quite an achievement even though Ken might be a lowly "American" and only lucky he made a correct statement. Both the Volt and EV's are correctly called electric. The EV plugs in for electricity generated by 97.3% coal, nuclear or natural gas, whereby the Volt generates electricity by a gasoline motor. Time to get off the "high horse" and use the facts.
35 fantastic U.S. beaches for Summer {Gadling}
May 14th 2010 7:37AM Your first teaser photo of the red lighthouse against a dark sky is fantastic but not identified, so I will help. I believe it is the light at South Haven, Michigan. A classic.
Health Endgame: Time To Embrace Half a Loaf (And Learn to Love It!) {Politics Daily}
Dec 20th 2009 6:48AM Like repukeslie7 says we need reform now, this week, this day, this minute, because so many are in need. Then, let's wait until 2013 for the benefits to start. That's only 3 1/2 years away. The irony and insincerity is all too obvious. Do the Dems really believe that America is that dumb?
