Flight attendant photographs obese passenger / safety hazard {Gadling}

Dec 10th 2009 11:26PM As a flight attendant or 20+++ years, it is just another issue that has to be dealt with by the front line employees because most airline's management, except Southwest, are not consistent in enforcing airline policies. The more a passengers complains/whiles, airlines give in. It is definitely a safety matter for any heavy set passenger and anyone he/she blocks. Yes, they need to purchase 2 seats. How does a person of size drive? What kind of furniture does he/she have that accommodates their weight? I'm sure they drive a car that can accommodate them so why expect an airline to design seats that only accommodates a minority percentage?
