Jun 25th 2010 6:01PM WHEN WILL PEOPLE WAKE UP?????? IF YOU ARE GOING TO FLY THEN LEARN TO FOLLOW THE RULES THAT EACH AIRLINE HAS IN PLACE. THE AIRLINES PUT THESE RULES IN PLACE FOR REAL REASONS!!!! WHETHER A CUSTOMER BRINGS A PET SNAKE OR A PET ANT, THE RULES ARE THE RULES.
STOP WITH THE "OH SO SAD STORY ABOUT A TURTLE" THIS IS ABOUT FOLLOWING RULES. THE PARENTS KNEW THE RULES UPON PURCHASING THE TICKETS. BOTTOM LINE IS THE PARENTS ALLOWED THE GIRL TO TAKE HER PET (IT'S NOT THE SIZE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT), THUS THEY VIOLATED THE RULES.
STOP MAKING THIS STORY OUT TO SOUND LIKE THE AIRLINE DID SOMETHING WRONG. SECURITY WOULD NOT HAVE ALLOWED A TURTLE PASS IF IT WERE DETECTED. THE PARENTS KNEW THE RULES, YET HAVE NOW ALLOWED THEIR CHILDREN TO KNOW THAT " IT'S OK TO TRY AND BREAK THE RULES AS LONG AS YOU ARE NOT CAUGHT" POOR PARENTING!!!!

May 29th 2010 1:56PM PASSENGERS ARE NEVER ALLOWED TO SIT ON A JUMPSEAT. I'M ASHAMED THAT THIS F/A WAS ONLY INTERESTED IN MAKING "FRIENDLY" WITH THIS MYSTERY FLIER, INSTEAD OF EXPLAINING THE SAFETY RULES.
THE WRITER TOOK HER ACTION AS BEING NICE, BUT IN REALITY THIS F/A BROKE A COMPANY RULE!

May 16th 2010 7:58PM I am a frequent flyer and must defend the fact that flight attendants cannot help with luggage any longer as people fill them to the limit and do expect the f/a to reach over their heads to adjust and/or find space for passengers luggage. One time while flying first class some idiot just left their luggage in the middle of the aisle and sat down. While taking my coat off I heard the f/a kindly ask over the loud speaker "whose luggage was was left in the middle of the aisle". No one answered (of course, as we all knew this passenger had done this before and expected the f/a to pick it up for them and put it away). The f/a took it up front until all was settled and then again made an announcement about the "lost luggage". Again, no one answered; until the f/a announced the luggage would be placed outside the cabin since no one was claiming it. Finally a big guy stood up and took claim of it and then had the nerve to tell the f/a to find a place for it. The f/a told him to kindly get up and put it in an overhead or he would have to have the bag checked. This guy as done this routine to many of f/a's, as it was quiet obvious. I have seen many f/a's get hurt picking up other passengers luggage and it should be the passengers responsibility to find a place for it. Flight Attendants are not your personal maids and the passengers need to be more aware of it.
So, secret flyer please be aware that if you pack it, you need to store it. Cut the flight attendants' some slack.

WE PEOPLE NEED MANY MORE STORIES OF UNSELFISH DEED. STORIES OF STEPPING OUTSIDE THE BOX OF COMFORT AND DOING FOR THOSE WHO HELP YOU AND EVEN FOR JUST THOSE IN NEED!
GOOD JOB TO THE ENTIRE FAMILY! ESPECIALLY THOSE PARENTS WHO TOOK 21 YEARS TO RAISE A WONDERFUL DAUGHTER!!!!!
