Six Reasons I Broke Up With Your Travelblog {Gadling}

Jul 29th 2011 11:16AM Excellent analysis of what travel blogs are increasingly looking like (or maybe I'm just looking closer these days). I know I'm guilty of just about every single one of these things (including being a 20 something RTW guy who DIDN'T manage to keep my shirt on in my profile picture - oops)!

If there's one thing that won't change, it's that the Internet is fleeting.

On long-term travel, snobbery & judgmental blogging {Gadling}

Aug 13th 2010 1:17PM @Lina - I've experienced the very same thing! Long-term travelers constantly get criticized by their 9-5 peers.

Heathrow invites you to kiss under the world's largest mistletoe {Gadling}

Dec 6th 2009 9:38PM Heathrow must do an incredible amount of marketing to repeatedly make it a symbol of love and reunions! I always thought that "Love Actually" scene was pretty incredible and I'm glad to see that the airport is still supporting that idea.

The unsure future of in-flight wifi {Gadling}

Dec 1st 2009 1:37AM Traveling home for Thankgiving, I used the GoGo wifi on my AA flight. I had a coupon code to try it for free (otherwise I wouldn't have bothered), but I have to admit I really enjoyed being able to be online in the air.

Plenty of other people on the plane at least had out their laptops whether it was just watching movies or typing things up, but I got to spend my time on Twitter. Worth it!

Oh, and I definitely was in a cramped coach seat. I did spill my drink on the seat, but it was still worth it!

The top five worst traveling companions {Gadling}

Nov 26th 2009 11:52AM Traveling with a vegetarian can be tough, too! Though, now that I'm trying to be a vegetarian, I'd hate to travel with just myself. Going to have to revisit that in the future.
