5 Places to See Wild Turkeys {Gadling}

Nov 26th 2009 10:40AM New York State's Hudson Valley, apart from being a truly beautiful slice of the best of America, is also a prime spot to catch wild turkeys roaming free. Driving along a narrow country lane and suddenly spotting a flock of these magnificent birds strutting and doing their thing is, for me, one of the thrills of a visit, akin to what our Pilgrims must have felt when they first saw the American turkey.
